Day 31 The Gift of Intercession

Scripture For The Day: "Pray for one another." —James 5:16
Message Of The Day:
Intercession is one of the most powerful ways we can love others. James 5:16 calls us to “pray for one another,” and this act of Prayer For The Day is love in action. It’s standing in the gap for someone else, bringing their needs before God, and trusting Him to work in their life.
Today, take a moment to pray for someone who hasn’t asked for your Prayer For The Days. It might be a friend, a family member, a coworker, or even someone you don’t know well. Lift up their needs, their struggles, and their hopes to God. Intercession is a gift—not only to the person you’re praying for but also to your own heart, as it draws you closer to God’s heart for others.
Prayer For The Day:
Jesus, teach me to pray with Your heart for others. Open my eyes to the needs of those around me, and give me the compassion to intercede on their behalf. Help me to love others through Prayer For The Day, trusting that You hear and answer. Thank You for the gift of intercession and for the way it draws me closer to You. Amen.
