Day 11 The Gift of Thirst

Scripture For The Day: "As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after Thee, O God." —Psalm Chapter 42, Verse 1 (King James Version)
Message Of The Day:
Lent has a way of sharpening our spiritual thirst. It strips away the distractions that often keep us from seeking God and reminds us of our deep need for Him. Psalm Chapter 42, Verse1 paints a vivid picture of this longing: “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for You, my God.”
What distracts you from seeking God? Is it busyness, technology, or the pursuit of comfort? Today, consider replacing one distraction with silence. Let your soul ache for Him, and allow that thirst to draw you closer to His presence.
Prayer For The Day:
Lord, stir in me a hunger and thirst that only You can satisfy. Help me to see the distractions in my life for what they are—empty substitutes for the fullness of life found in You.
Draw me into Your presence, Lord. Let my soul pant for You as the deer pants for water. Teach me to seek You above all else, and to find my satisfaction in Your love and grace. Amen.
