In the spring of 2020 – in the midst of the most surreal year of our lives – my wife Kylie and I decided we needed to escape the hustle and bustle of London in pursuit of a simpler, more eco-friendly life.

We sold our London flat and moved ourselves (and our two cats) to central Portugal where we’ve just bought this small farm in a tiny village near the town of Sertã.
