J.S.Bach Partita 2, Rondeau :: Rhythm or Affect? Doubts & Decisions (4)

The Rondeau of J.S.Bach's second partita, BWV 826, so nice to play in a tempo which "falls" on the first beat of every bar, probably meant by a 3/8 bar structure. But is there not a risk of putting that effect in front of what might be the "affect" of this wonderful piece of music?
