Kirby's Augusta - The One and Only Curly Watson

The first hands generations of Augustans felt when they entered into life belonged to a tall, courtly doctor who lived to be a 102.
Over a 50-year-span, they estimate that doctor, W.G. "Curly" Watson, delivered more than 50,000 babies, mostly at Augusta's University Hospital.
