Kirby's Augusta - Tale of the Rail

There's no telling how many thousands of times the great Jewish heroes, the great Jewish kings or the great Jewish prophets have been invoked from the pulpit of the old St. James Methodist Church on Greene Street.
We should not consider it unusual, therefore to note that St. James once had an honorary Jewish member -- a man who went on to become one of Augusta's most respected businessmen and civic leaders.
His name was David Slusky.
