Cheesy Chiffon Cupcake by Mai Goodness | Ube & Almond Flavor | Tips and Tricks for a Fluffy Chiffon

A Chiffon Cupcake with almond and ube flavor that you can serve on birthdays and special occasions or just your go to snack. It can be made easily at home as it includes simple and complete instructions for beginners in baking. Includes chiffon baking tips and tricks for a fluffy result. Cheesy Mamon Cupcake

Ingredients:
•  8 large (150g) egg yolks
• 1/2 cup (110g) canola or vegetable oil
• 3/4 cup (200ml) orange soda like royal thru orange or pineapple juice
• 3/4 cup (160g) white granulated sugar
• 2 1/4 cups (300g) cake flour, sifted twice
• 1 tbsp (10g) baking powder
• 1 tsp (5g) iodized salt
• 1/2 tsp almond extract (you can also use vanilla)
• 1 tsp ube flavoring

Meringue;
• 8 large (260g) egg whites
• 1/2 tsp (1g) cream of tartar
• 3/4 cup (160g) white granulated sugar

Toppings: (Optional)
• grated cheese

*Use 3oz cupcake liner on a 3oz cupcake baking tray.
*Preheat oven at 160⁰C for 15 minutes.
*Bake for 30 mins at the middle rack only. Turn it around at 15 mins for even cooking and color.
*Add some grated cheese on top.

Baking Pan Size:
3 oz cupcake baking tray or mamon molder

Baking Time:
160⁰C for 30 mins

Cost of ingredients = P144
Overhead cost (40% of ingredients cost for elect, fare, gas, water etc) = P57.60
Total Cost: P201.40
Yields: 31 pcs
Net Cost per piece = P6.50 x 1.7(tubo) = P11.00
Selling price per piece: P10 to P15
