Enjoy, play, ride or hike at the Chinese Peak Blackrock Trail System
The Chinese Peak Blackrock trail system was created in 1996 and it provides access to over 40 miles of designated trails. The trail system is limited to designated routes between April 15 and November 15. This closure protects winter habitat for numerous animals, as well as the trails themselves during high-precipitation times to prevent rutting and erosion. Major recreation activities include: OHV use, mountain biking, hiking, running, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, hunting and picnicking.
