Feathers and Frontiers: Opening (Part 1 of 6)

The mission of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.

As stewards of America's public lands, BLM manages for multiple use while conserving natural, historic, and cultural resources. This includes specially designated national conservation areas.

The Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area (NCA) is comprised of more than 480,000 ares of BLM-managed land in southwestern Idaho.

In addition to its cultural, scientific, and educational values, this NCA is home to the largest and densest population of nesting raptors in North America, if not the world.
