Know Your Formulation: Suspended Concentrates (SC)
WHAT ARE SUSPENDED CONCENTRATES?
Suspended Concentrates (SC) are liquid formulations that contain the stable suspension of a solid pesticide in a fluid that must be diluted with water before use.
The SC is very thick when sitting still. Once you shake or move it, the product flows like a liquid.
SCs are used to treat and control pests in various residential, public, commercial, and agricultural settings.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING SUSPENDED CONCENTRATES?
After application, SCs leave long-lasting residual effects after the product completely dries.
Keep in mind SCs require frequent agitation to prevent the product from settling.
HOW TO USE SUSPENDED CONCENTRATES
Before using your pesticide, read the label for proper instructions and mix rates. Wear your proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling any pesticide product.
Fill your sprayer ¼ of the way with water.
Measure your product, then pour it into your sprayer.
Fill your sprayer with the remaining water.
Thoroughly agitate your solution.
Spray entry points and around your home’s perimeter to create long-lasting residual barriers.
