Minelab Equinox 800 with 15” inch Coil Finds Big Silver Spill, Eagle Button, and More! Tips & Tricks
In this video we use the Minelab Equinox 800 with the 15” inch coil and find an amazing silver spill, silver bracelet, eagle button, old coins, and more!
I do my best to show the target ID’s and how they vary, with live digs. I also show a few tips and tricks I’ve learned with the Equinox 800.
1) If the Equinox 800 is noisy— hunt in single frequency and cross-check in multi. If you think multi is deeper you need to watch my 12” dime video where single frequency beats multi and multi reports a 12” inch dime numbers below 10 target ID.
2) Single frequencies sometimes report small aluminum in the high 20’s & 30’s target ID. So I use Multi to cross-check, and multi will take that number way down to 10 or lower target ID- this is how I know it’s trash. IF multi reports the same or similar higher numbers— I know it’s more likely a good target.
3) I also use multi frequency to cross-check bottle caps. Again, if my single frequency is reporting high good numbers, and I switch to multi and it jumps like crazy and goes way down low in target ID, I know it’s most likely a bottle cap or trash.
Please comment and let me know if you want to see any specific tests done or comparisons, I have every detector you can name in our shop😊
Come by and check is out, we offer friendly service and advice, free shipping and no sales tax!
Happy Hunting!!
