Minelab Equinox 3.0 Software Update, Testing 4kHz & Live Digs!

In this video I show how to update your Minelab Equinox metal detector with the new 3.0 software update.
Minelab claims this software update has “improved stability”, and also adds a unique 4kHz frequency to the arsenal. Minelab states that 4kHz is good for finding larger deeper targets.
In the video, I use 4kHz to test live digs and compare it with other single frequencies as well as multi-frequency.
I was extremely surprised by how smooth the detector felt—especially in single frequencies in comparison to my experience before the 3.0 update.
Is the Equinox detector deeper now with the new 3.0 software update? I can’t say for sure yet I just need more time on it... But I got a ton of coins in a hunted out park!
