Discovering America by Bicycle | PART 20: HILL COUNTRY OF INDIANA

Leaving Washington we ride through miles and miles of Amish country, with rustic farms and beautiful draft horses, not to mention the beautiful Amish people. A tire problem is solved with the help of a kind local, and we ride through what might be the prettiest landscapes we can remember. Soon enough, though, the hills become plentiful and steep, we nearly run out of water before being rescued by another trail angel and their well water, and we find ourselves a lovely campsite short of our destination of Bedford. The next day, the land begins to flatten a bit, much to our relief, and we make it to Seymour, after on of the loveliest stretches of riding either of us have ever experienced.
