Discovering America by Bicycle | PART 23: BUCKEYE COUNTRY (Ohio to Erie Trail Part 2)

Leaving Mason Ohio we follow the Prairie Grass Trail section of the Ohio to Erie Trail north toward Columbus, where the Scioto Greenway brings us dramatically into downtown. After a night in German Village, a quaint neighborhood in Columbus, we’re back on the trail, finally managing to leave the city behind after some struggles. Riding on a combination of rail trails and roads, the Heart of Ohio Trail takes us through Centerburg, mid-point of the trail. A short road detour off the trail takes us to Rustic Knolls Campground, an excellent stop for a quiet overnight.
