Crypto currencies are here to stay. So knowing that crypto is here to stay and that it is a great hedge against the stock market and inflation you might be thinking of starting a small crypto portfolio.

Cryptocurrencies are just like stocks in the sense that each crypto should be backed by some form of “business or whitepaper” which is the underlying asset. Crypto’s are also split into Large cap, mid cap and small cap coins.

Now there are many different ways you can invest in a $1,000 crypto portfolio. You could be a long term BTC holder. Buy $1k of BTC and let it ride forever. You could do the same for ETH or even LTC.

I would make sure to diversify. I would put 50% of my holdings into large cap coins (BTC, ETH, LTC) 25% into mid cap coins (cardano, uniswap) and 25% into small cap coins (tezos)
