These videos are designed for guitar beginners or people with only limited guitar knowledge. They use simple chord shapes as much as possible, and do not necessarily reflect the ways in which the original song was played. The intention is to use these lessons to supplement your primary learning method. Information is included for both right and left-handed players!

This is perhaps a more drastic re-arrangement of a song that I've done before, and it could be argued that the way the song was originally played is actually easier (power chords in drop-D tuning). However, the goal for these videos is to try and use standard chord shapes without re-tuning your guitar, so I tried it like this. You may or may not like it, but just think of it as a busking-style arrangement of this awesome Silversun Pickups song.

The rhythm and strumming is completely open to your own interpretation, but I stuck fairly close to the song's original patterns. The only chord which may be tricky for beginners here is the B5. You need to be sure to only strum the 3 strings your fingers are pressing on. It's a simple power chord shape, but can be substituted for the full B major chord if you prefer.
