Mosque in Peacehaven set ablaze in suspected hate crime amid rising religious tensions

A fire at a mosque in Peacehaven, near Brighton, is being investigated as a suspected hate crime after two masked attackers poured petrol on the building’s steps and set it alight while two people were inside.
The arson, which caused extensive damage, comes just days after a deadly assault outside a Manchester synagogue.
