Bon Jovi | Live at Sheffield City Hall | Sheffield 1986

In early November 1986, Bon Jovi had already begun their unstoppable run to fame and superstardom with Slippery When Wet ramping up to be one of the most successful albums in Hard Rock history.
Thus, they began a tightly scheduled headliner run in the UK and then the rest of Europe which also saw them finally including Livin' On A Prayer into their setlists. But as great as the lurking success was, as taxing was the strain on Jon's voice. This early tour document still shows it in relatively good shape which was to heavily deteriorate over the following months.
The concert was filmed from the reverse side of the hall and switches between good and alien-like which is down to the lightning. When the super troupers shine directy on the band members, they are just glowing figures, but other than that it's quite nice. The sound unveiled some strange crackling noise during remastering on the right channel, but you really only slightly notice it during the quieter songs. Overall, the sound was captured really good for a recording that old!
