Money lessons I’ve learned from travelling 💰✈️ #shorts

➡️ Lesson #1 - Create balance with your money: You don’t have to have an ‘all or nothing’ mindset when it comes to your money (aka it doesn’t have to be ‘spend everything’ vs ‘save everything’ - you can do both!).

➡️ Lesson #2 - Create a general spending guide: It’s easy to overspend once you get to your destination, so have at least a high level budget in mind to keep you aligned with your goals.

➡️ Lesson #3 - Get the right travel credit card: Earning points when you travel is great, but make sure it’s worth it! Some credit cards are only beneficial if you’re spending a LOT of money, so just because it works for someone else, doesn’t mean it will for you.

➡️ Lesson #4 - Get travel medical insurance: It’s a fairly small additional cost that can save you thousands of dollars if something actually goes wrong while you’re away.
