When your manager asks for an update every 5 minutes 🙃 #shorts

Micromanaging = when a boss or manager gives excessive supervision to employees; aka, being asked for updates constantly, literally watching over your shoulder as you work, or not delegating tasks in an effective way, because they feel like they need to do everything themselves.

This can be really annoying, and also just inefficient for the team and company overall. If you feel like you’re being micromanaged at work, first reflect and see if there’s anything specific you could improve on (and ask your manager for feedback to see if they have any concerns). If there aren’t any, then talk to them about how you feel!
