The 'Bard' Pilatus B4 was launched into perfect slope soaring conditions with a strong northerly blowing straight onto the hillside. Ground based footage captured the glider carving effortlessly through the lift band before setting up for landing.
The flight finished with an immaculate landing on the fringe, sliding down the hill and coming to a stop just short of the bushes. A great example of what slope soaring is all about.
