Brand new Water meter dial
This short video features a brand new water meter in use in a residential tower in Dwarka sub-city, New Delhi, India. Such water meters fitted to new pipelines on the roof of the residential towers are used to measure the volume of water used by residents in every flat; with a view to regulate the use of this precious commodity.
Here, the central wheel is seen spinning slowly as also the hands on the other two dials because a water tap was not fully closed in one of the flats; whereas in normal use, the central wheel spins rapidly and the hands on the other dials rotate fast.
