This video depicts the arrival of Udagamandalam to Coonoor Special (Train No. 06139) on JUNE 14, 2022 AT 10:10 AM, hauled by a diesel locomotive YDM-4 #6706. On Platform 1 is the steam hauled train from Mettupalayam which arrived early by 25 minutes.
Do note the Brakesmen in the carriages of the arriving train waving Green flags, Red flags, and later Green flags as the train changes track to reach Platform 2. This flag signal is a unique feature on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway. Do not miss the scene.
