At Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine, our pelvic pain specialists provide a functional, rehab approach to pelvic pain. When you visit one of our offices, you spend an hour with your doctor reviewing in detail your medical history and symptoms. Then, we perform an internal exam (no speculum) to evaluate your nerves and muscles. Together, we'll discuss an individual treatment plan that gets to the root cause of your pain and helps you to feel better. The best part: you can begin treatment the same day!

Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine is a clinical practice where we see patients of all gender identities with symptoms of chronic pelvic pain. Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine is unique in that we have an interdisciplinary approach to taking care of our patients. We do have three departments. We have the physiatry or rehab department. We have the gynecological surgery department as well as our behavioral health department. We're able to collaborate on our patient care and that integrated, interdisciplinary approach is really what works for our patient population. The mission of Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine is to really decrease the suffering and silence that is going on with pelvic pain patients and to shorten the time our patients are suffering from their symptoms. Many patients come in with many years of pain, discomfort and decreased function. We really want to educate not only the healthcare population, but also the patients to be their own advocate and decrease the time that they are in pain.

Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine was founded in 2017 and now we are nationwide and we're continuing to grow. There really is such a need. We are research and quality forward. We really have kind of two arms where we focus on one is really analyzing quality outcomes from our unique PRM outpatient protocol that we do. And in addition, we have a Clinical Advisory Board with national leaders from multiple specialties. Our disease process that we treat is a silent disease process quite often. Really it's the healthcare system that's failing the patients. For our patients, I would tell them that your pain is real. Please don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
