Dr. Marjorie Maye Mamsaang is a trained Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with a strong focus on Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, and the treatment of musculoskeletal health issues related to pelvic pain. The pelvis is such a central part of the body, and it can affect and be affected by the other pieces of the anatomy in a number of ways. Coming from a background in osteopathic medicine, Dr. Mamsaang believes in the importance of finding full-body treatments for pain issues.
At Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine, our pelvic pain specialists provide a functional, rehab approach to pelvic pain. When you visit one of our offices, you spend an hour with your doctor reviewing in detail your medical history and symptoms. Then, we perform an internal exam (no speculum) to evaluate your nerves and muscles. Together, we'll discuss an individual treatment plan that gets to the root cause of your pain and helps you to feel better. The best part: you can begin treatment the same day!
At PRM, our mission is to decrease the time patients are suffering from pelvic pain symptoms.

Polycystic ovarian syndrome, or PCOS, and endometriosis tend to be commonly mistaken for one another. Reason why is because they have overlapping symptoms such as fertility problems, pelvic pain, and heavy bleeding.
What are the differences? Patients with PCOS tend to have abnormally high levels of the male hormones and have unwanted facial hair growth. Women with endometriosis tend to have higher levels of estrogen than normal, and have symptoms of painful sex, GI symptoms or digestive problems, fatigue.
Is it possible to have endometriosis and PCOS at the same time? The answer is yes.
