In this video, you will learn how to source 4-20ma DC current using the Fluke 789 ProcessMeter™ with 250 Ohm HART resistor.

Simply rotate the Fluke 789 ProcessMeter™ rotary knob to the DC milliamp function. Once the knob has been rotated, you have the flexibility in performing span checks at 100% milliamps (20 mA) or 0% milliamps (4 mA). The Fluke 789 also offers manual step (100%, 25%, Course and Fine) adjustments to fit your needs.

If you need to use automatic ramping or step functions, simply rotate the Fluke 789 rotary knob to the mA sourcing function. Once selected, press the blue button on your Fluke 789 to the desired function.

The Fluke 789 ProcessMeter is the ultimate troubleshooting tool for electricians and instrumentation professionals. It combines the functionality of a loop calibrator with the power of a digital multimeter, and the wireless capabilities of Fluke Connect connectivity with optional IR3000FC module.
