Australia Post CEO discusses ending of daily letter deliveries

Australia Post CEO Paul Graham has joined Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood to discuss the changes being made to the national postal service.

Mr Graham convinced the government that the letters business is dying and changes were needed.

Australia Post will now be delivering post every two days, with an extra day for regional and interstate deliveries and higher prices for expressed deliveries.

This is designed to keep the lucrative parcels business viable.

This comes as parcel volumes continue to grow, despite retailers expecting a quieter Christmas this year amid record Black Friday sales.
