‘Worrying’: Shadow Minister raises concerns for housing in Australia

Shadow Housing and Homelessness Minister Michael Sukkar says under Labor, Australia has had “fewer homes built than the previous Coalition government”.

“The truth is under this government, we’ve had supply down, fewer homes built than the previous Coalition government, fewer first home buyers,” he told Sky News Australia.

“Worryingly, we’ve got lower approvals, which means over the next 12 to 18 months, fewer homes will be built.”
