Las Vegas police identify officers in shooting incident at LVAC

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has identified the officers involved in the May 16, 2025, officer-involved shooting at the Las Vegas Athletic Club on North Rainbow Boulevard.

The officers are Kaid Urban, Skeeter Black, and Aaron Javier.

Officer Kaid Urban, 29, has been with the department since 2020 and is assigned to the Community Safety Division, Bolden Area Command.

Officer Skeeter Black, 44, joined the department in 2015 and also serves in the Community Safety Division, Bolden Area Command.

Officer Aaron Javier, 37, has been with the department since 2016 and is similarly assigned to the Community Safety Division, Bolden Area Command.
