50 Min Yin Yoga class for deep stretches and relaxation | connecting breath with stillness
Welcome to @Nicelydoneyoga-r8p This video is a 50-minute Yin Yoga class, where we go deep into our fascia, our connective tissue. In this practice, we hold certain poses for a duration of about 2 minutes. We slow down the breath and slow down the mind to go deep within and fully connect with our bodies. By doing this, we enter a state of peaceful stillness and relaxation.
By surrendering the body in these deep poses, the muscles release their tension and we can go deeper into the stretch to increase flexibility, reset the nervous system, and bring balance to body and mind. We learn to let go and slow down and enter a state of blissfulness.
We start with a gentle warm-up to prepare the body for the longer held poses.
🧘♀️ What to Expect:
✔️ Slow, gentle warm-up stretches
✔️ Creative Yin Yoga poses, held for 2 min.
✔️ Deep stretches to improve flexibility
✔️ Breath-focused on mindfulness, relaxation and balance
✔️ Deep bends and deep tissue poses to go deep in our fascia
🧺 Optional Props:
Yoga mat
Bolster or pillows
Block or book
