Meekrat On Android, Live Video Streaming 4 Twitter

Meerkrat won the race when it came to bridging the ability to post live streaming video from your Android device directly to your Twitter timeline. During the past month Periscope was released on the iOS platform with great success, Meerkrat turned their attention to making the same thing happen for them but only on Android.

Still in the Beta phase, Meerkat is currently working on fixing the bugs and kinks as users leave reviews on the official page found in the Google Play Store. Use the link below to try it out, all you need is a Twitter account as the application and service is completely free to use.

Google has Live Hangouts, Twitter has this now, time will tell with what Facebook has in store, because I’m sure the ability to live stream video is just going to be as common as a feature as sending a direct message.
