Elementary OS 101 Freya: Installing The Radio Tray -TechByDMG.com

The Radio Tray is a free application that sits beautifully in the Wing-panel of Elementary OS Freya. To Install it type in the following command in your terminal. Once you have done that you will need to follow the next steps to fix the issue with it not working right away.

To Install type this in the terminal:
sudo apt-get install radiotray

then stay in the terminal and type this:
cd /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/radiotray

then:
sudo nano SysTray.py

and now navigate all the way down until you see this line: gtk.gdk.threads_init()

place a pound sign in front of it like I showed in the video so it looks like this:
# gtk.gdk.threads_init()

press Ctrl O(not zero)
press enter
Press Ctrl X & open it from the apps drawer.
