Frankenquiche: Crockpot Quiche with a special surprise!

Back in the kitchen with my old trusty crockpot! This is an easy quiche recipe that cooks up in 2 1/2 hours. I'll include the real recipe and then what I actually used.

Ingredients:
8 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon each of salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder
1/2 cup chopped onions
5 slices of bacon, diced
2 ounces fresh spinach
8 ounces shredded gruyere or swiss cheese

Alternate ingredients:
Swap 5 hotdogs chopped for the bacon
8 ounces gouda for the cheese

Directions:
(optional: spray inside of crockpot with cooking spray)
1. Whisk eggs, milk (don't forget!), salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder, together until combined. Pour in crockpot.
2. Sprinkle onions and bacon (or hotdogs) over the top. Layer cheese and spinach on top of mixture. Push spinach and cheese into mixture using the back of a spoon.
3. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours. When sides are browning and middle is mostly solid, turn off crockpot and remove lid.
4. Let is rest for 30 minutes. Quiche should pull away from the sides as it cools.
