Wavehunting - Gliding when the Mistral Blows

When the Mistral wind sets up in the southern French Alps there is a loads of fun to be had on the northwest facing ridges and a good chance you can find wave over the Jabron valley near Montagne de Lure.

In this video I flew to Mt Ventoux and on the way back to Mt de Lure I lucked out with one of the easiest transitions into wave ever. Having climbed up in the Jabron wave box I then ducked under the airway to head North to the Pic de Bure before turning back to La Motte Du Caire. Spectacular day out in the mountains.
