A Sea-side Adventure (the BGA re-edit)

This edit of the seaside footage was used as part of my presentation about this flight along the south coast the cliffs of Devon and Dorset at the Annual British Gliding Association Conference. Non of our senior club members could remember anyone going far so I thought that this was the first time a glider had ever soared the coast-line east of Beer Head to West Bay, but as it turns out the Lengend John Fielden actually made it to Corfe Castle and back and in a Swallow!
I was thoroughly stitched up by Pete Harmer our club's CFI who put me forward for The Phillip Wills National Enterprise Trophy for this adventure, which I was extremely surprised and honoured to win. I guess it pays to advertise!
