One Fine Day in the ALPS

One of our last days flying from La Motte Du Caire in June. I was the last to launch and joined JB and Phil on a flight to Glacier Blanc via the Queyras region. You can see the high cloud bases over Col de Vars and the Queyras and the low clouds coming up from the Italian border. The mesmerising beauty of floating past the North face of the Barre des Ecrins is for me always one of the high lights of flying in the Alps.
