Variety is the Spice: Looping a Form

When we realized we were entering our seventh year on our channel and we had yet to address today’s topic, we were more than a bit surprised. It’s a simple way to extend your time with your form play without the start-and-stop of having to close and then reopen.

For our warmup, we’ll return for a fourth time to our current warmup series pulling exercises from Water Tiger’s T’ai Chi Qigong: Reeling Silk set. We’ll then explore what Water Tiger calls “Looping” when it comes to giving a different spin to our form play.

Because of the sophisticated nature of T'ai Chi Ch'uan, Qigong, and related arts, it is recommended, that before beginning this or any program of study, you should first consult your physician or therapist for advice on whether or not you should embark on the physical activity required by this or any program of study in T'ai Chi Ch'uan, Qigong, and other related arts.
