Nach unserem Besuch der zerstörten Villa Moglia steht noch ein letzter Halt des Tages auf dem Programm – eine Farm, den wir auf einer unserer Karten entdeckt haben und über den wir beim Betreten des Grundstücks so gut wie gar nichts wissen. Aber manchmal sind genau DAS die Orte die wir suchen und lieben …

Der letzte Bewohner des Bauernhauses aus dem 19. Jahrhundert war ein fußballbegeisterter Mann, der gerade im Bereich der Jugendmannschaften große Erfolge feierte. Überall im Haus verstreut finden sich Erinnerungsstücke an diese Zeit, sei es nun in Form von Pokalen, Medaillen oder eben Fotos, die die von ihm trainierten Mannschaften zeigen. Sein Name war Benito Tapparello! Man sagt dass er nach dem Ende seiner Trainerkarriere mit einem Lieferwagen voller Fußbälle durch die umliegenden Dörfer zog und so einige Kinder davon abhielt, auf die schiefe Bahn zu geraten. Als Gegenpol dazu gibt es aber auch die Geschichte, dass er angeblich Adidas-Bälle gefälscht und in Umlauf gebracht hat.

War das der Grund, wieso hier wirklich alles zurückgelassen wurde?

The last inhabitant of the farmhouse from the 19th century was a football-enthusiast who had great success especially in the field of youth teams. Everywhere in the house, there are mementos of this time, be it in the form of trophies, medals or even photos that show the teams trained by him. His name was Benito Tapparello! It is said that after the end of his coaching career, he drove through the surrounding villages in a van laden with footballs, preventing some children from getting on the wrong track. But as an antipode to this there is also the story that he allegedly faked Adidas balls and sold them.

Was that the reason why everything has been left behind here?
