London could design like the Netherlands

There are a lot of brownfield sites in London which are in the process of being developed but there's no urge to design with the aim of fostering community.

Will the city regret not designing its new builds with the foresight that Amsterdam does?

I wandered the new Amsterdam Houthavens area which was an area of derelict docklands. It is being transformed into an area of families, street life and cutting-edge design.
