Stop-Motion Transformation of Deformation Space DS-02 Recording Alliance. This is a very tidy figure. So pleasant to work with. This just replaced KFC for my official Blaster in my collection. Their seeker design had a couple of clearance issues (but still a great figure), but this is very clean and concise. Keeping my eye out for more from Deformation Space.

Production Note: I think I managed to isolate movements on that little tape pretty darned well, if I do say so myself. Fun story. About 30-40 minutes into working on the video, I went to hit “File, Save” and missed “Save” and hit “Close” instead. So I ended up with a file that didn’t seem to have a sequence anymore and couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to get the damned video component to load back up. So I erased my file and started allllll over again. All because I’m too uncoordinated to aim my damned mouse properly.

Viewing Note:
If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
