For some, it is all we know. The grind, the hard work, making ends meet, being ahead, being behind, providing, failing, winning. Each of these things stimulates growth. Being in situations that test our morals, values, and work ethic are what reflects in our success. Many of us have been in the situation where we have had to put a few items back at the grocery store. Times where the grocery budget was a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter. As you become better, more successful, land that big job, gain that big raise, when you look back, these are the situations that keep you grounded. These situations keep you humble. You lived by the skin of your teeth for so long, and still LIVED and still GOT BY! You can live this crazy thing called life rich, or poor, however neither should change who you were when you had NOTHING. Harness your success and use it to help others become better. It is ok to treat your self to something special, you earned it, you deserve it. But don't forget about those around you. Help lift them up, help them see what hard work can do, help them see what the sacrifices can add up to! The harder you work, the more success that comes. Whether that is in the form of money, love, personal health, relationship goals, being a better mother, being a better father. If you take one thing away from this little rant, Work Hard, Stay Focused, and always Stay Humble.
