Double helpings of pasta: sweet and savoury - and both delicious!

Maria shared two pasta recipes. The first is served only on Ascension Day in May in the Cilento region: here, the tagliolini are simmered in sugared sheep's milk. For the second, Maria uses a bean special to the area called fagioli di Controne, which are served with cavatelli (which Maria calls gnocchetti), garlic and dried peppers called peperoni cruschi, which are fried and then crumbled into the dish. The beans are savoury and digestible thanks to their thin skins.
