Vladimir Krainev plays Barsukov Piano Concerto no. 2

Vladimir Krainev playing Sergei Barsukov's Piano Concerto no. 2, with the All-Union Radio SO under Maxim Shostakovich. This is a LP rip released in 1977. Very little is known about Barsukov (1898-1984). Apparently he published this work in 1966, and there is a LP of him playing it with Adrian Boult conducting. The following was gleaned from MusicWeb:

'Born in St. Petersburg. After studies in Russia and Germany, Barsukov came to the United States, becoming a U.S. citizen in 1920, and toured as a piano soloist. After service in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, he settled in Cannes, France. Further information about his musical education and the extent compositional output are not available. A musical scholarship was endowed in his name at the San Francisco Conservatory and the information above was gleaned from the program notes of a performance of his Mediterranean Suite by the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra in 1993.'
