Returning a WWII relic to the US: Richard L. Ordean

Update: Thanks to all the help, we finally found the living relatives we were looking for! Unbelievable.. Thanks all! Hopefully this will not be the last relic we will send back.

Dear friends, imagine how it would feel to receive something, something that once belonged to your father or grand father who fought thousands of miles away from home, in a strange country somewhere in a muddy and snowy trench. We need to get this relic home.

Context:

Some years ago we found the lid of a US WW1 model mess tin. The soldier the mess tin once belonged to, had engraved his name in this mess tin. His name was Richard L. Ordean, from Columbus, Ohio. He survived the war, but died in 1990. We tried to trace any living relatives, to return this mess tin lid to them. Unfortunately so far we haven't had any success. We've sent emails to people like the mayor of Sidney, Ohio, we have posted requests on forums etc. No replies. Since we have around 18K subscribers (and a lot of Americans) we ask you guys for your help. Is there anyone who can help us on our search? Please contact us by sending a personal message on youtube.
