WWII Relic Hunting/Metal Detecting Episode XII: Dear friends, it has been a while since we uploaded our last video. The reason is simple, we haven't had any time to go on a tour lately, June was the last time and you've all seen the video. Last month we had the chance to finally go out again. We only spent an afternoon looking for traces of the war, so don't expect a lot of finds. We did find some nice things however, especially since the location we visited is not described in any book we have ever seen, only in a soldier's diary/report, which we have found. So we read the reports of this British soldier and his company, and he wrote about a certain road he and his fellow soldiers followed. There had been some action there, but no real action. Still, we thought it would be nice to check if they had left anything, especially since we expected nobody has ever heard of these events and therefore ever tried to find any relics. The story turned out to be true: we found some evidence the British did indeed use this road and that they used their artillery at the location we visited. Very cool to have been able to verify the story by finding physical evidence! We hope you will feel the same way. Enjoy the video. Oh and by the way, a new full length video will be online soon!
