I am still using a 12 year old Nikon d700 in 2021 ( picture sample from our studio session )

it's 2021, while everyone is racing for megapixel, mirrorless, IBIS, eye autofocus and the sharpest most expensive lens, i still use this immortal beast from Nikon paired with a legendary 135mm f3.5 nikkor lens.

The Nikon d700 is 12 years old now, with only 12 megapixel, the 135mm f3.5 has only 4 glass element, a very unique design.

Just look at the micro-contrast, the shadow to highlight transition, the contrast, the 3d pop, only a medium format can give you this kind of result !!!!

Never forget that the best camera and lens is worth nothing under bad lighting , we use a godox ad400 pro, godox ad200 pro and up to 4 godox tt600n ( small speedlight ) paired with all kind of softbox beauty dish umbrella reflector etc.

if you need any help or information about our gear technique or specific lighting setup just ask ... i dont have much time to do tutorial etc ...

all what you see is straight from camera ( minor some small adjustment and a few spot removal ), i always try to do everything with the light on set so that i dont spent useless time retouching in post ....

I shoot raw and use iridient developper for raw conversion, this software allow for very unique rendering that really compliment the nikon d700 ( specialy for black and white )
Also all the knowledge that helped me create my business is from the angry photographer channel
