Nikkor 135mm f3.5 Ai, the best lens for black and white portraiture with a nikon d700

This is one the best portrait lens for your nikon camera, this lens is so good i own two copy of it, i use every time in the studio, it stay on my d700 most of time.

It is excellent for black and white photography the micro-contrast is amazing, depth rendition is off the chart, all image come to life with amazing 3d pop ( Zeiss pop ) and it cost almost nothing.
4 element only, this lens is all glass and metal, built quality is very good you can save it and pass it to your grand children it will still work the same.

Of course its a manual focus lens, its not perfect but if you know how to use properly under the right lighting condition it will outperform most portrait lens even the mighty and pricey 135mm f2dc nikkor .

all image are shot in my studio with the Nikon d700
our studio lighting include a godox ad400pro with an ads85s soffbox, 4 small speedlites and various reflectors umbrellas and other tools for light shaping
