24 x 36 prints with only 12 megapixel , using the nikon d700 for landscape photography in 2021

For 2021 I am working with a dedicated print lab for my landscape photography and the 12mpx of the d700 are more than enough for my stardard print size 24x 36 ( 60x90cm ), we can even push way it further according to the lab but I get good sales figure from this standard size.

My primary lens for landscape is a very old nikkor 28mm F3.5 Ai lens
I always favour micro contrast over sharpness and this lens has huge micro contrast ( its a bit soft but I couldn't care less )

most of the picture are taken with a manfrotto 055 series tripod and the long exposure are done with an nd10 or nd6 neutral density filter, the rest are done with a Cpl filter.

I am not a fan of big picture editing most of the picture are almost straight from camera with some minor editing. I use iridient developer to extract and edit my raw files and affinity if some minor retouching are required.
