New Glenn: Blue Origin's First Orbital Rocket Explained!

SpaceX's competitor, Blue Origin is gradually moving forward with the development of their heavy lift launch vehicle New Glenn. The Jeff Bezos founded company was established in 2000, two years before SpaceX, but it still yet to reach orbit.

Blue Origin currently have the reusable New Shephard suborbital rocket, which has successfully completed several flights. Blue Origin started the design work on New Glenn in 2012, and the first illustrations of the rocket were made public in 2016. New Glenn will be taller and more powerful than the SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket. If it launches before the Starship rocket or the NASA's SLS, then New Glenn will be the most powerful active vehicle.
