ACL Artist profile: Ben Kweller on Community, Creativity, and Mental Health.

@medicinalmediaorg partnered with the @HiHowAreYouProject backstage at #ACLFest 2023. The Hi, How Are You Project is an Austin, TX-based nonprofit organization with a mission to remove the stigma around mental health, one conversation at a time.

Ben Kweller was raised in small-town Texas, where he started playing drums with his dad at the age of seven. After signing his first record deal at 15, followed by a variety of exciting collaborations, Kweller had launched his solo career by the time he was 18. Now a regular at the Austin City Limits festival, Kweller speaks freely about his creative process and working through depression.
